Glenn Cornick 1947 -1914

I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Glenn Cornick. It’s not a name that trips off the tongue but he was deeply influential in my youth as bass player extraordinaire with bands such as Jethro Tull, Wild Turkey, Paris and The John Evans Band. You can here his talent playing on the very aptly entitled track ‘Good Old Days’ from the album ‘Turkey’ by Wild Turkey released in 1972:-

When I hear sad news like this I begin to feel my age. Thanks for the memories Glenn, the band upstairs continues to grow
